Lamborghini has this cool habit to build limited-edition supercars that are based on the regular production models, but look unique and sport dedicated names. They're usually built in very limited numbers, which makes them hard to find once they're sold out. And even if you find one for sale, they're extremely expensive.

That's the case with the Lamborghini Centenario Roadster, one of only 20 produced. DuPont Registry is offering one as we speak and you won't find another one like it out there. But it will set you back a whopping $2.7 million.

What is the Lamborghini Centenario?

The Centenario was unveiled in 2016 as a limited-edition supercar based on the Lamborghini Aventador. As the name suggests, it was created to celebrate the 100th birthday of the company's founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini. But it was also designed to showcase new technologies, such as a rear-wheel steering system, a new infotainment system, and new aerodynamic advancements, all of which found their way on the company's regular production models.

Is this Lamborghini Centenario Roadster special?

A one-of-20 supercar is special by default, but you should know that this specific Centenario Roadster was ordered with a base carbon-fiber body. This feature alone added $300,000 to the car's sticker. It also features a unique two-tone interior in red and black Alcantara that shows no signs of wear. It comes with only 369 miles on the odometer, which means it's practically brand new. The supercar is listed at $2,688,888, which is a fortune, but it's actually not a lot more expensive than the original sticker price of the Centenario Roadster.
