If you're a fan of the Nissan GT-R, you can still purchase the current-generation model. It's 13 years old as of 2020, but it can still hold its own against more modern sports cars and it's a blast to drive at the track. But if you're a Skyline GT-R enthusiast, you need to look back on cars built until 2002, when Nissan dropped this badge for the GT-R. Luckily, you can still find a few mint-condition examples out there. Like this R34-generation Skyline GT-R with only 225 miles on the odometer.

This specific model was showcased by JDM Expo back in November 2019. Although it's almost a year since then, the Nissan is still available and it costs a whopping $485,000.

That's a lot of cash for a car that's not a full-fledged classic, but not exactly ludicrous given that it's brand-new and it's more than just a regular Skyline GT-R R34. You see, this specific model is the V-Spec II Nur, a limited-edition model that ended the production of the R34 in 2002.

Although it was advertised with 276 horsepower due to Japanese car industry norms at the time, the V-Spec II Nur is actually rated at 330 horsepower. It was the most powerful R34 save for the Nismo-designed Z-Tune with the bigger 2.8-liter six-cylinder. The Nur was named after the Nurburgring race track, where Nissan set several records with the Skyline GT-R over the years.

With just 225 miles on the odometer, this is probably the closest thing you can buy to a brand-new Skyline GT-R R34. The exterior paint looks spotless, while the seats and the floor are still wrapped in plastic covers. Would you pay almost $500,000 for this Nissan?
