Lancia officially retired from rallying back in 1991, but it made sure to end its run on a high note. Its racehorse, the Lancia Delta, is touted as one of the best rally cars ever produced and is considered a legend in its own right.

To commemorate its fifth consecutive World Rally Championship victory before retiring, Lancia built 400 examples of the Delta Integrale Martini 5 Evoluzione from October 1991 to 1992. One of those copies is now up for grabs at Bring-a-Trailer.com and the bid for it has already gone north of $100,000!

What Makes This Car So Special?

This particular model is a 1992 build and #374 of the 400 examples built. The car was sold new in Japan and was later imported to Spain before the dealer selling it now shipped it to the States. It has around 12,000 miles on the odo.

The car comes packed with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine under the hood that makes 210 horses at 5,750 rpm and 224 pound-feet of torque at 3,500 rpm.

Power is sent to all the wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox and a Torsen limited-slip differential. In April 2017, the car was fitted with a new timing belt, tensioners, bearings, water pump, hoses, starter motor, intake manifold gasket, and other items. Engine mounts, shock absorbers, radiator caps, shifter brushings, and battery frame were replaced in December 2019.

On the outside, this white beauty features model-specific Martini stripes on the body and an adjustable black rear spoiler. It rides on 15-inch white wheels wrapped in 205/50 Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Other notable features include boxy flared wheel arches and vents on the hoods and fenders.

On the inside, it is equipped with Recaro racing seats finished in synthetic suede with red striped inserts. They also feature harness pass-throughs as well as red seat belts. There are Martini Racing-branded floor and cargo mats present. A plaque sits pretty on the center console to constantly remind you that this isn’t any other regular Lancia. To wrap it all, this 1992 model also comes with a period-specific Clarion cassette player.

The car has a transferable Vermont registration, but cannot be registered or titled in the state of California. The current bid for this #374 Lancia Delta Integrale Martini 5 Evoluzione stands at $105,000 and has just 16 hours left in the auction at the time of writing this article.
