Chevrolet Corvette car crash takes the lives of four people in LA

A tragic accident took the lives of four people today when the driver of a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette lost control of the sports car and flipped it over a guard rail, resulting in a pretty gruesome crash that had most of the Corvette’s body and car parts scattered along a half-mile stretch.

The accident, which took place near the Van Nuys airport, occurred when the driver of the Corvette was traveling at higher-than-usual speeds before losing control and hitting a guardrail. And that wasn’t the end, either. After slamming into the guardrail, the Corvette skidded for several hundred feet and crossed a number of railway trucks before stopping - upside down.

According to the LAPD, three bodies - two men and a woman - were found lying outside the car with the fourth casualty pinned inside the car.

We have to warn viewers; please do not watch this video without being emotionally prepared to handle the gruesome scene. Also, please use this as a reminder that traveling at high speeds is dangerous and should only be done if you are a professional on a closed course.

I was thinking the same thing. Remember how the Aztek concept looked and then being crestfallen at the sight of the production version? I’m feeling the same about this.

Dang how could this happen? Well, that’s the problem with super cars and drivers, they are pushing their cars to the limit that’s why sometimes they are loosing control with it, if you want to impress someone or test your cars to the limit you should done it in a proper place.

Dang..... condolence to them. accidents do happens sometimes, like what many other says, "great powers comes with a great responsibility". With this kind of power driving it must take extreme responsibilities.

It is practically the same story all over the world - people think if they can drive a sports car fast on the straight then "negotiating a turn is a piece of cake". Deadly wrong. And the tragedy is that it proved wrong not only to the driver. smiley
