Corvettes have had successful bouts in the auction arenas lately with the 427 Limited Edition Corvette Z06 bringing $200,000.00 to Haiti relief efforts and the first retail production 2009 Corvette ZR1 bringing a whopping $1,000,000.00. Chevrolet is taking full advantage of their success in the lanes by offering up the first of 500 retail 2011 Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition for auction at the Barrett-Jackson in Palm Beach, FL on April 3, 2010.

The winner of this magnificent vehicle will not only receive the Corvette, but will also be given the opportunity to tour GM’s Performance Build Center in Michigan and the opportunity to watch the Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition travel down the assembly line in Kentucky.

The winner will be spending his money on the tribute to the 50th anniversary of Corvette’s first race at the 24 hours of LeMans->ke1591. This 2011 Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition boasts Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, Michelin PS2 tires, magnetic ride control, a ZR1-style body color spoiler, body color door handles, carbon fiber raised hood, and black carbon fiber rockers and splitter.
