Chrysler is getting an early jump on the upcoming market launch of the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee next month by releasing a new video of the luxury SUV.

Prospective buyers of the 2011 Grand Cherokee will be given an option of two engine variants for the SUV, one of which features Chrysler’s new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that produces an output of 290 horsepower and a mileage of 23 mpg. The other - and significantly more powerful - engine will be a 5.7 liter HEMI V8 that comes with 360 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque. Check out the newly-released B-roll video of the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee being put through the paces in the desert.
