Whoever said that car companies and high fashion brands don’t have a place in each other’s arms has obviously never met Citroen->ke22.

The French manufacturer has already tied the proverbial “partnership knot” with one such brand – Yves St. Laurent – and has even launched its own DS3 Design Competition when we found out that they have tapped yet another fashion icon to collaborate with: Japanese fashion powerhouse Kenzo.

For their collaboration, Citroen and Kenzo decided to dress up a DS3->ke3360 premium hatchback – care to venture a guess on why hatches are getting all the love from designers these days - by giving it a colorful and eye-catching retro pattern on both the car’s roof, as well as the interior upholstery.

Call us crazy, but we’re actually digging this design. We like how Citroen and Kenzo kept the patterns relatively tame while also using colors that don’t scream attention by the mere sight of it. There’s no word yet on how many of these cars will be released, but from what we’ve gathered, at least for the mean time, this special edition DS3 will be kept as a one-off.
