You can call us pleasantly surprised; that much we’re willing to admit. Not known for producing crossover vehicles, Citroen has certainly shown that just because their track record says otherwise, it doesn’t mean that they can’t prove them wrong.

The French-based automaker recently released the first official photos of the AirCross crossover. Aesthetically speaking, the AirCross is a departure to the brand’s oftentimes conservative approach, opting for a crossover that comes with a rugged, off-road look.

Based on the Citroen C3 Picasso MPV, the AirCross features a bevy of modifications including a newly-designed front and rear bumper, new grills in the front fascia, wheel arch extensions, roof rails, an aluminum trim, and bigger-than-usual alloy wheels.

Specifications behind the AirCross have yet to be revealed so in the meantime, we’re going to have to settle for these two clear-as-day photos of the crossover. We’ll be sure to update you of any further information as soon as they become available.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

this color combination looks pretty cool... I especially like the roof line that goes all the way to the front windshield...Sigh... Too bad it’s not coming here to the US...

Dang TopSpeed... you should put a warning about graphic and disturbing images on this article. I may not be able to sleep after seeing that car.

I don’t really know what to call this kind of car other than an MPV. Is it like a mini-van or is it like a Mini-SUV?

Lovely looking minivan, looks more fun to drive than the kia soul and suzuki APV.
