If you're addicted to the brand-new 2015 Corvette Z06 and can't get enough of GM's->ke1024 halo sports car->ke506 lapping America's most iconic race tracks, then you've come to the right place. We're equally crazy about the Z06 and we have brand-new footage showing this supercharged beast taking fast turns on Road Atlanta. We've already seen it do just that recently, but this two-minute video is way cooler, as it shows in-car footage as well as images and data provided by the car's Performance Data Recorder.

Making things even better is that the Z06 is driven by Tommy Milner, GM's factory racing and test driver and full-time Corvette Racing pilot. Milner laps Road Atlanta at full throttle, while explaining the Z06's behavior in each turn. He even manages to complete a lap in only 1:29.81, although he wasn't aiming for a record. For reference, that's nearly five seconds slower than the record set by a race-spec Nissan GT-R->ke1592 built by Forged Performance. However, the GT-R set the benchmark using slick tires. Using street tires, the GT-R took 1:29.9 to complete the lap with street tires, roughly a tenth of second slower than the Z06. If you were looking for proof that the Z06 is a race-bred road car, there you have it!

Hit the play button to enjoy the action and make sure you pump up the volume for some pure American V-8 noise. And in case you missed it, the first Corvette Z06s are already on their way to customers as of, which means owners will soon start posting videos of their own. All I can say is bring it on!
