Demo version of Forza 3 to be released a month before official game goes on sale

October 27 has probably been circled around the calendars of most Xbox racing game fanatics for a long time now. Why’s this date important, you ask?

Well, that’s the day when Forza 3 officially goes on sale! It’s easy to get excited for this thrill-ride of a race game so you can bet that Microsoft – together with Turn 10 Studios - is taking advantage of the buzz by releasing a demo version of the game at the Xbox Live Marketplace beginning on September 24.

While the full version won’t be released until a god month after, the Forza 3 demo version does give you a glimpse of what is expected to be a racing game for the ages, complete with improved graphics, a full track excursion of the Carmino Viejo race circuit, as well as a choice of five race cars, namely, a 2007 Porsche #80 Flying Lizard 911 GT3 RSR, a 2009 Ferrari California, a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR, a 2009 MINI John Cooper Works, and last but certainly not least, a 2010 Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro.

We don’t need to remind fans of the Forza franchise just how insanely awesome this game is and by the looks of everything we’ve seen so far, Forza 3 is shaping up to be the best Forza game ever released. If you’re still sceptical about it, check out the new Forza 3 intro video. It’ll most likely change your mind about the game.

I feel this is Turn 10’s best game yet. FM2 is an awsome game, don’t get me wrong, but FM3 gets it right. All I’d like to see on this game is more custom rims.
