The first-gen NSX was the equivalent to a fighter jet, but for the road. Not only just that, but it was also the first car to be built entirely out of aluminum. Even the legendary McLaren F1 was heavily inspired by the NSX’s timeless design. Back in the day, supercars were not as exciting as they are now, except for the NSX. This thing was wicked fast for the road, and the exhaust notes from the V-6 were terrific. The first NSX was unveiled at the 1989 Chicago Auto Show and was available only as a coupe until 1995 when a convertible variant was launched. A stock example of the 1991 Acura NSX is being auctioned on Bring a Trailer and this might be the best offer you can get to experience a 90s supercar.

This beautiful supercar has all the old-school visual characteristics, like the pop-up headlights, smaller 15-16-inch wheels, and a longer body that measures 173.4 inches. The car comes in Formula Red body color, along with a blacked-out roof and pillars. Twin chrome-coated exhaust tips, squared-off taillights, and an integrated wing make the rear-end look super classy. A set of Falken Azenis tires wraps the wheels and are newly replaced before the auction. Highlights of this 1991 NSX include a double-wishbone suspension with stabilizer bars on both front and rear. NSX-branded calipers are visible with ventilated discs on each corner.

A 3.0-liter naturally aspirated V-6 is mid-mounted and drives the rear wheels only via a five-speed manual transaxle. The engine, when new, was rated at 270 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque. This example of the NSX was last serviced in July 2021, including a battery swap and oil changes. The engine has no faults, the car has passed the Carfax checks without any red flags, and even has a clean New Mexico title.

The cabin of this 1991 NSX seems to be flawless and luxurious. Black-colored leather seats, dashboard, door panels, and center console are part of it. Even if it's a supercar, you can drive it daily. It has power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, a Bose audio unit, and cruise control. An Acura-branded three-spoke leather steering wheel looks great and frames the analog dials. The odometer reading suggests that this 31-year-old NSX has been driven 64,000 miles only. The current seller has added about 3,000 miles to the odo.
