Dowdeswell & Hardie, a Scottish design company, revealed it’s latest concept, the Falen, a car which has a stunning resemblance with the Lamborghini Gallardo, not only in terms of design but also in terms of power, as both of them incorporate a high- rev V10 engine. The new model features a mid-mounted 5.5L V10 capable of developing over 800hp and is mated to a five-speed transaxle gearbox.

The final powertrain is rumored to be the very potent Judd GV5 S2, the engine that was used also in the LMP1 racing class. The engine’s weight is around 130kg, so together with the car’s monocoque made totally of carbon-fiber, the entire weight of Falen’s won’t skip 1,000kg. Anyway, it will be hard to see it on the streets as they are only producing 4 pieces. The creation will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call it a "stunning resemblance". A stunning resemblance would be a perfect imitation or a near identical copy. Not in this case. Similar in some ways yes, but you can say that about a lot of super cars today.
