These are the new Cadillacs, at least if you can derive information from the nomenclature that General Motors has just trademarked for the brand.
   
Kind of a far cry from “deVille,” “Seville,” “Eldorado,” “Park Avenue,” “Calais,” and even – yes, it was a Cadillac Motorama car first – “El Camino.”
   
If you really wanted to know the future of General Motors, this would be the way to see it.
   
But there is one acronym they don’t seem to have acquired.
   
DOA.
   
But then, Cadillac no longer makes that commercial chassis for the hearses.
