It’s not exactly on the level of the government keeping tabs on our daily lives, but it’s a little similar in some respects. Bugatti has an active remote service for the Chiron that allows the automaker to monitor a portion of technical data pertaining to the supercar’s real-time performance. The remote monitoring system isn’t that different from the one popularized by Tesla. It’s just that Bugatti had its own system in place when it launched the Veyron supercar almost ten years ago. More importantly, it still uses it today with the Chiron.
