If you’re one of those people who live and breathe car racing games like Gran Turismo, enjoying it from the confines of your own couch just isn’t enough to satisfy your gaming experience.

Well, Studie AG - one of Japan’s foremost authorities in tuning BMWs - has the perfect place for you to play the highly-anticipated Gran Turismo 5 game for the Playstation 3 – the front seat of a BMW M3 E30.

Before you wonder how this will translate to taking the car out on the road – especially since it has an LCD TV installed at the hood - don’t worry; the car is merely on display at Studie AG’s shop in Yokohama.

In a time when car racing games have become more and more realistic, Studie AG’s latest creation has completely blurred the line between reality and fantasy.

Makes you wish you had that M3 E30 in your garage.

I guess you will not be needed a XBL to download the content. A Silver free registered account will be enough to download. And of course you just need to pay for the content.

Forza 1 was a valiant effort, and it really showed Digital Polyphony a LOT of things they could do better. But it didn’t really GT4.

If this is anything like the 5 series GT then it isn’t going to be much more useful then the sedan. The GT weighs 1kip more then the sedan, has a higher drag coefficient, it has a longer wheel base but less cargo room. So tell me why would anyone in their right mind buy this car over the wagon or sedan 3 series.

I wouldn’t do that on my BMW, but anyway it’s only a display.
