Marek Reichman, the chief creative officer at Aston Martin, takes us over each and every car from the British marque, that has appeared in every Bond film since the 60s.

Overview

Reichman is an industrial designer, who also trained as an automotive designer at the Royal College of Art in London. Growing up, he always wanted to pursue this profession, and having penned cars like the Rolls Royce Phantom VII, the Range Rover L322, and most modern Astons, the man has since realized his dream. Reichman has been designing Aston Martin’s for over 15 years now, with the most coveted of them all being the One77, which is nothing short of hypercar royalty.

The Aston Martin Bond Cars

In a short 15 minute film, featured on Wired, the designer goes over each and every Aston Martin Bond car that has appeared in films that feature secret agent 007. He touches upon several aspects of these cars including their design, which films they’ve appeared in, and crucially, this being a spy car; gadgetry.

Every Aston Martin that was used by 007, set the benchmark for aesthetics, technology, and sophistication, for their respective times in history. This was especially true for all the state-of-the-art gadgets that came on these cars, which were all cutting edge. These are cars, that were designed to inspire a generation, and they have certainly succeeded at that. Here’s the entire list of cars that Reichman goes over in the film

Aston Martin Valhalla

To sum it up, these were some amazing cars. One thing that all of them have in common is the way they look. To put it in a word, Sensational. I know we all have our favorites and for me, it's the DB10 from Skyfall. The fact that it wasn’t a full-fledged production car and only a handful of them were made, just makes it extra special. Having said that the most popular Bond car by far has to be the DB5, having appeared in six Bond films.
