Although it is built by one of the biggest automakers in the world, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe is very much a niche product. It is a big (ok, huge) luxury coupe->ke141 with a massive 6.0-liter twin-turbo V-12 putting out 621 horsepower and 738 pounds-feet of torque. It is part of long tradition of huge, massively powerful V-12 German GT cars, which are fantastic machines but not the sort of things anyone would mistake for track cars. Yet the new S65 AMG Coupe comes with some mighty impressive chassis control systems, and the folks at EVO decided to see if those might have turned the car into a track machine.

You'll get the question mostly answered right at the beginning of the video,->ke278 where the reviewer can't talk about taking the car on the track without giggling. He'll go into some detail about the various stability control systems, and you'll get to see the car do a lap around the track. It really isn't quite so comically bad as all of the laughing might imply, it just seems like a seriously impractical choice of vehicle. The car really does surprisingly well, it just still isn't quite a track car. But that's okay, because nobody was expecting it to be one.
