The race for the first unmodified 2011 Ford Mustang GT to break the 11-second quarter-mile run is now over with the winner being the folks from Evolution Performance. It didn't take long for them to achieve it either.

Shortly after receiving their 2011 Mustang GT, EP went straight to work. After performing a few test laps on the car, EP went ahead and slapped on a set of Bogart racing wheels with Mickey Thompson ET street tires. The result was an 11.82 @ 118 mph quarter-mile time. Pretty impressive considering the Mustang GT was barely broken in.
