The Concours Club situated in Sunny Miami is one of the Nation's premier Automotive Clubs. It is a members-only luxury resort that has a state-of-the-art two-mile-long racing circuit on site.

The Club strives to go beyond what a traditional motorsport facility offers and provides a tailor-made experience to its members, who are primarily high-net-worth automotive enthusiasts and car collectors. But it doesn’t stop there because the Concours Club goes the extra mile to provide some truly exclusive luxury amenities and services to its members.

Overview

It was founder Neil Gehani’s passion for motorsport that led him to create the Concours Club. An ardent enthusiast and Ferrari Challenge driver himself, Mr.Gehani, the Founder and CEO of Trilogy Real Estate Group LLC, felt that South Florida was the perfect location to build such a facility as he had extensively spent time in the sunshine state.

The buildings on site were designed by DMAC Architecture and Interiors and about five years ago the idea for the club began to come to fruition. The Club finally opened its gates to its members, sometime in 2021.

So why Miami? Well not only does the Magic city offer some fantastic weather, all year round, but it is also incredibly diverse and international along with a rich car culture.

This is something that is also reflected in the ultra-high network clients who make up the members of the Concours Club. The Club is conveniently located next to a private airport, so as to avoid long commute times in order to get to the track.

According to Mr.Weiss, Several members from across the country do in fact directly fly into the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport located, just a traffic light away from the gates of the Concours Club.

Miami International Airport is just eight miles down the road, while Fort Lauderdale is 20 miles to the north, with downtown Miami just 13 miles away. Spread out on a sprawling 75-acre campus, and members having a lifestyle and circuit concierge at their disposal the facilities at the Concours Club are second to none.

The Track

At the heart of the Concours club lies a state-of-the-art two-mile-long private racetrack that was thought up by renowned South African circuit designer Alan L. Wilson. It is an immensely technical course with 11 corners, three hairpins along with elevation changes, a 2,100-foot strait, and a fully paved asphalt run-off areas with high grip coating.

The track draws inspiration from some of the most legendary circuits from around the world. The 46-foot wide surface gives drivers ample room to test the limits of their skills and their vehicles.

To further hone those skills, members and their guests have access to simulators as well as professional driving instructors. The Club offers a variety of driver training programs for drifting and car control. The site currently has a launch pad for two vehicles and it will also soon include a skid pad, that provides basic training for motorsport.

Members who don’t wish to use their own vehicles have access to a fleet of BMW M2 CS race cars.

Technology and safety are paramount at the Concours Club and the team has gone to great lengths to incorporate the same at the facility. For example, in order to maximize your leisure time spent on track, you can sign an annual waiver that is paired with a custom app. This app allows you to access the track at short notice with your gear and car ready to go. In fact, the Club is trying out an on-demand scheduling system this summer, which does just that.

The Concours Club is also exploring the idea of adding software driven by AI weather tracking technology. This software will help with reducing the amount of time that the track goes offline during the occasional pop-up storms, that are common in Miami during the summers.

Another unique safety feature is the circuit's semi-autonomous digital flagging system that comprises high-definition hand tilt zoom cameras, timing and scoring loops along with electronic flag panels (EFPs). The system has the ability to look for anomalies and take action based on the telemetry of each driver who hits the track.

Beyond the Track

The Club boasts some truly fantastic facilities and amenities available exclusively to its members. The Lounge is a great place for like-minded individuals, who share the same passion for cars, to engage in a tête-à-tête.

While they’re at it, they can also savor some exquisite gastronomic delights, courtesy of renowned Chef Brad Kilgore, at the Club’s in-house restaurant, the Verge.

Another key component of the club is the shared storage facility available to members. According to Mr.Weiss, a lot of the high-end real estate in Miami typically doesn't have adequate parking space and the Club serves as an ideal location for members looking to store and have their prized possessions be looked after.

The cars in storage are made up of collector cars and members who bought circuit-specific cars for track days. To keep your ride in top shape, the club also offers a range of car detailing services including paint correction, PPF installs, ceramic coatings, a tuning shop with a service center and so much more.

The Club is also in the process of building 41 Auto lofts for its members. They are a 3,200 square foot built-out private leasable space. It is a fairly unique product that falls somewhere in between a garage and an apartment and the space can hold anywhere between 8 to 12 cars.

The space is configurable that comes with its own locker room, and kitchenette with a Mezzanine floor likely to be used as a lounge. All units also come with a patio overlooking the race course and the expansive facility.

The next chapter for the Concours Club

The next step for the Concours Club is its Automotive Events Center, conceived by the renowned Italian design house, Pininfarina, a firm that is responsible for creating some of the most beautiful cars in the world.

It sets the stage to host a range of events with a focus on the automotive space. Mr.Weiss mentioned that this building will be an ideal space to have everything from new car launches to media days and vendor days.

Also, Formula One recently staged its very first Grand Prix in Miami and the race took place at the Hard Rock Stadium, located just six miles away. The Concours Club along with its members were present at the event in full swing.

The Club set up its own hospitality suite at Turn Three and hosted close to 300 members and their guests on race weekend. In the pre-race grid parade, all 20 F1 Drivers rode in an exotic car belonging to and driven by a member of the Concours Club.

To sum it up, the Concours Club sets a new benchmark for Automotive-centric venues around the world. In order to maintain exclusivity, membership to the club is based on an invite-only basis and the Club relies on referrals to facilitate the same.
