For its second facelift, the Jeep Renegade’s front and rear bumper, grille, headlights, and wheels have been updated.

What’s immediately obvious right away are its updated looks. Shown here in top-trim Trailhawk form, the front bumper has been slightly reworked, as it now features a more prominent satin faux skid plate, tow hooks, and rectangular foglights. Jeep’s signature seven-slotted grille has also been made narrower, and it’s now flanked by a new set of LED headlights. The LED turn signals are now integrated into the car’s circular LED daytime running lights rather than being completely separate lighting units.

At the sides, the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk that’s seen here comes with a new alloy wheel design. The rear end, meanwhile, gets a new pair of sleeker LED taillight graphics and a new rear bumper design.

While the overall interior design remains largely unchanged, it does get a new fully-digital gauge cluster, new steering wheel, and an updated UConnect infotainment system

Stellantis has not released official photos of the new Renegade, but based on their promotional video, Jeep’s smallest SUV gets quite a comprehensive tech update. The overall look remains largely unchanged, but it now gets an updated UConnect infotainment system, 8.4-inches in the case of the Trailhawk, along with a fully-digital instrument cluster. There’s also a new steering wheel design that puts the new Renegade in line with newer Jeep models such as the Grand Cherokee and Wagoneer range.

Powertrain details have not yet been revealed as of this moment, but based on the T270 badge at the rear, the Brazilian Renegade comes with a 1.3-liter Turboflex engine that produces 180 horsepower when running on gasoline or 185 horsepower when filled with ethanol. The torque figure is the same for both fuel choices at 199 pound-feet.

This engine will power both front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) variants, and it will most likely come with a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic, or a nine-speed automatic.

That’s all the information that we know for now. While the model we see here is for the Brazilian market, it will most likely be offered in Europe and North America as well, though Stellantis recently introduced updates to the North American Renegade for the 2022 model year.
