Back in March we got our first glimpse at the Faralli & Mazzanti Vulca S V12. Then it was just a few computer drawings, and probably just a dream. But even as the world economy circles the drain, it seems the plans for this ultra-exclusive car is moving ahead.

We now have pictures of what is the real car or at least a working prototype. Considering that production will be limited to ten cars total, Faralli & Mazzanti are likely getting all the work they can out of the car in these pictures. This is rumored to be a 2+2 coupe with all-aluminum bodywork. It's powered by a 5.8-liter V10 engine that makes 630 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque. It will go from 0 to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 208 mph.

So why would a car with “V12” in its name be powered by a V10 engine? We don't have that answer, but we do hope that means we've not see the hottest version to come.
