Conceived to satisfy the requests and ambitions of the most passionate clients, the new 'FC6 Competizione' by Fenice Milano is created based on the Ferrari 458 Italia, a two‐seat sedan with an 8 cylinder rear‐central engine.

The Ferrari 458 tried to bring on the street the experience gained in Formula 1, above all regarding the interaction between pilot and car, as demonstrated by the new conception wheel and dashboard. The design counts on an efficient aerodynamic (0,33 of Cx) that generates a vertical load of 140 Kg at 200 Km/h and of 360 Kg at top speed, while the displacement augmented to 4,5 liters, besides improving the precedent limit of 490Hp, brings the maximum couple up to 540 Nm at 6.000 rpm, already available at 80% starting from 3.250 rpm.

In the 'FC6 Competizione', Fenice Milano presents some stylistic and technical enhancements able to make even more unique and performing this already almost‐perfect car. The name 'FC6 Competizione' (where F stands for Fenice and C6 for carbon, being its symbol in chemistry) refers to the important presence of carbon fiber finishing and to the sporty and racy soul of this car, that expresses itself strongly in the distinctive sound of the engine.

The new frame in aluminum, for which different kinds of alloys and junction and processing techniques derived by Aerospatiale industry have been used, is coupled with mechanical changes to the suspensions, which exalt its skills of manageability and its extraordinary performances. The finishing in exposed carbon for the ceiling, front and rear fender, mirrors, spoiler and the profile of the rear extractor, instead, give 'FC6 Competizione' a more sporty look without giving up on elegance. The 20'' rims are forged in aluminum alloy and partitioned in three pieces and guarantee an excellent road holding thanks to the 235/35 tires in the front and 325/25 in the rear. The new ECU expressly studied for the V8 and the new suction system coupled with an exhaust system managed by an electronic valve moreover permit to considerably improve the performances and to reduce consumption.
