If Ferrari’s latest front engine V12 GT car, the 599 GTB is not enough super car for you, the Italian automaker is now offering an upgraded sports package that improves the handling and aerodynamics of the car named after the test track, for the additional cost of €28,382 ($39,000). Just like the DBS transponder watch, if you have the money to buy a 599, the extra green it takes to upgrade to the HGTE package should not be a problem.

The handling and aero package includes a modified suspension setup with stiffer springs and a thicker rear anti-roll bar as well as new calibrations for the magnetic shock absorbers for when the Manettino on the steering wheel has been turned to the sport setting. The 599’s center of gravity has been lowered thanks to the new suspension that also helps improve control of the 200 MPG super car. World class athletes wear the finest equipment on their feet, and tires are like the GTB’s shoes, so the Ferrari engineers have designed a set of tires featuring a special rubber compound that offers even more grip.

Although the Ferrari 599 GTB with HGTE isn't quite the track special 599XX, we are pretty sure that it will be about as powerful a prancing horse that anyone will want to handle on the street.
