Whereas most of its competitors have swallowed their pride and began producing four-door sports sedans, Ferrari is hanging steadfast on its proclamation that hell would freeze over before anyone will ever see a production four-door Prancing Horse gallop out of Maranello.

That much was made clear by Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa when he made it emphatically clear that Ferrari wouldn’t even consider traveling that road. “As Enzo (Ferrari) would say, we will never do four doors,” he said. “And we will keep this tradition.”

According to Felisa, the Maserati Quattroporte, which was made by its sister brand Maserati, will be the closest thing to a four-door sports sedan we’ll see that has Ferrari ties to it.

“We stand 60 years and we never needed four doors. What never means, I don’t know, but one of the strong points of Ferrari is to keep the product in the right way. I’m not saying four doors is not right for the image, but it’s not part of our heritage.”

We’re not particularly sure if this proclamation will last the test of time, but give it to the guy for sticking to the company’s "heritage", something that a lot of its competition couldn’t do.

hmm. Well, its a good thing that they the CEO have changed his mind consider to build a four -door vehicle that’s why the production of the Ferrari FF was born!

haha. Its kind of funny to remember this kind of thing. They promise not to make this version but the Ferrari FF was born and now its already sold for 2011!

Yeah, a bit funny. However, they haven’t made a wrong decision in making a four seater. People really want it that’s why its already sold out.

Yeah right, but I think it wasn’t a wrong decision at all for FF is quite successful and I have heard that its on way to be sold out later this year!

They have already broken that statement for they have recently released the Ferrari FF which is a four-door car. There’s no wrong in making a little changes.

I actually find that statement so "strong". If Ferrari wants to follow their tradition well,
let’s just respect that. It really shows that Ferrari has a distinctive characteristic that other manufacturer don’t have.

Four doors, are you kidding? Ferrari is only known for having two doors.

Yeah! never do four doors because if they do, the gorgeous style will be lost and like what they says, its been a tradition of the Ferarri company.
