The 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari has understandably gotten a lot of the headlines over at Maranello. But just in case you’ve forgotten that the Prancing Horse has more than just one model in its lineup, this video captured by YouTube user Marchettino will remind you of the equally scintillating Ferrari F12berlinetta. Granted, the F12berlinetta is nowhere near in the same league as the LaFerrari, but it still has 704 horsepower and 508 pound-feet of torque at its disposal. That’s not something you can just sneeze at, and as this video will show you that the F12berlinetta is more than capable of using every ounce of its power. In fact, it uses it so well that the supercar’s->ke177 carbon-ceramic brakes were red hot... literally.

Marchettino captured the incredible sight during the Ferrari F12berlinetta's afternoon at the Italian automaker’s private test track in Fiorano. The video->ke278 starts of like any other spy video. The car goes through the paces around the track; that’s when you notice the supercar’s front wheels glowing bright orange every time the car brakes before entering a corner. Once the car accelerates, the glow subsides before it illuminates again at the next braking point.

We know that glowing brake discs should be avoided as much as possible, but we can’t help but lock our eyes on the F12berlinetta’s wheels every time it puts on the brakes. Seeing the car actually doing it while running roughshod over the Fiorano race track makes this video that much sweeter.
