21 of the existing 30 FXX K models are present in this video

If anybody has ever fantasized about owning a Ferrari FXX K, there’s a good chance that those dreams will remain just that: dreams. Don’t feel too bad because I count myself among this hopeful population. But I already know that I’m not ever going to own one of these mental track-only Ferraris, so I’ve resigned myself to live my fandom vicariously through those who actually own one.

That brings me to this video, which is arguably the biggest gathering of Ferrari FXX K owners in one venue. The incredible track day reportedly took place in Mugello, Ferrari’s home race track, where a total of 21 FXX K track-spec supercars took part in the festivities. You’ll notice in the video the different liveries of these FXX Ks so it’s safe to say that there was, in fact, more than a handful of them running roughshod around the circuit.

Its not just that 21 of the 30 existing FXX Ks were in attendance. That in itself is already awesome. But what makes hits video even more enjoyable is the sound of all those cars flexing that 1,050-horsepower output for fans like us to see and hear. And man, that rip-roaring engine sound is like a symphony. There’s 12 minutes worth of revving in this video, so you’re going to get your fill of it. Enjoy it as much as you can because you never know when a meet like this will happen again.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More
