Ferrari is particularly proud of gaining the first place in the ’Great Place to Work Institute’ classification.

The survey, conducted on a 500 employees sample for each company, certifies the satisfaction coefficient and finds out the best working places in Italy. The classification features Ferrari at the first place, then Microsoft, Coca Cola Hbc, American Express, Sevel and Johnson Wax.

The continuing policy of development in the place to work, inaugurated from Luca di Montezemolo in 1997 with the Galleria del Vento by Renzo Piano and ongoing with the Nuova Meccanica by Marco Visconti in 2001, the Logistica GeS in 2002, the Centro Sviluppo Prodotto by Massimiliano Fuksas and the Verniciatura by Marco Visconti in 2004, the Maranello Village in 2006, today has a concrete acknowledgement from the people who actually work in Maranello. The program, called "Formula Uomo", bases its purpose to the concept of the man as the centre of the company working system and aims to emphasize employees’skills and to stimulate their creativity, giving importance to each one’s share.

"These acknowledgements are anyway a commitment to do always more and to improve the working environment further on, as the strict Formula 1 school shows us", remarked Jean Todt, Ferrari Managing Director and CEO.
