Its been a great year for Ferrari as they reported record sales and profits last year. The F430 and the 599 GTB Fiorano models have provided the necessary boost to achieve this feat.

"The exceptional results obtained were predominately thanks to increased sales volumes and efficiency measures which were partly offset by increased investment in research and development," a statement said.

Revenues have climbed by 15.3 percent in 2007, to $2.4 billion while operating profit rose 45.4 percent to $388 million. Net profit increased by 40.4 percent to $436 million.

Ferrari has delivered 6,465 passenger cars to its esteemed(and filthy rich) customers around the globe. That statistic went up 14 percent from 5,671 in 2006.

In the Asia-Pacific region, sales were up 47.2 percent while the Middle East region increased by 32.3 percent. Ferrari has already taken orders of 500 Scuderia’s in the U.S. where sales usually hover between 1,500 to 1,800 cars annually.
