If you’re a car enthusiast and you’ve ever been inside a wind tunnel, you know that that place looks just about as cool as the Death Star to a Star Wars geek, not to mention, of course, that it could get really, really windy in that place.

But while most wind tunnels are awesome inside, none of them can replicate the same level of awesomeness when it comes to the exterior’s facade, which is what makes this Ferrari wind tunnel all the more eye-catching. We don’t really know what the shape looks like, but it sure qualifies as ’grade-A’ awesome in our book. The Ferrari wind tunnel consists of a steel air duct with a fan that is five meters in diameter and absorbs 2000kW of power. The tunnel can produce up to 150Kph of wind speed in real car tests and 150 Kph in model scale tests.

And if you’re having trouble believing as to whether this really is a Ferrari wind tunnel, that Prancing Horse logo on the side of the building should blow away whaever doubts you may have.

Did we mention we think it’s awesome?

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

They could add a ride inside their wind tunnel haha. Hmm so this is how they test the aerodynamics of their cars.

Am not expecting from porshe panamera but they are selling too much cars. This car is really beautiful and I think they should plan a newly design panamera that can almost double the sales of this previous porshe panamera.

That was an eco-friendly source of electricity. Good thing that ferrari is also aiming for the earth’s sake.
