• Ford A-Max coming in 2012

Ford is now thinking smaller than the Ka for Europe. Starting 2012, the company will also add the A-Max city car, a sub €10,000 model with a design inspired by the latest Ka, Fiesta and Focus.

The A-Max’s size will place it between a Smart and the Ka. It will feature a high roof, long wheelbase and wide track and will be a 3+1 seater model.

The approximately 10.6 feet model will use a separate, modular body structure, which will possibly be used in future models. The drive options are limited to two three-cylinder supercharged with 0.9-liter (gas) and 1.05-liter (diesel) engine capacity. A hybrid variant is not planned.
