How can one forget the day the new 2021 Bronco was launched! Ford had all the momentum for the grand unveiling, but Jeep decided to play a spoilsport at the last minute. Jeep announced that the Wrangler will be launched with a V-8 engine, just hours before the Bronco was supposed to debut. Now, whether you call it a tactical move or Jeep just being a baby, there’s no denying that it must have Ford off quite bad.

Less than a year later, Ford decided to invade the Easter Jeep Safari by bringing four Bronco-based concept models to Moab and steal some attention from Jeep and its concepts.

Bronco Outer Banks with Sasquatch Package

One of the concepts that Ford brought to Moab is an Outer Banks trim four-door Bronco. It comes with JAC Products’ rock rails, fender flares by Air Design, and Lund Trail Armor rocker panel covers. It also features a 40-inch curved LED lightbar by Rigid on the roof and a Bestop retractable full-roof soft-top. The hood comes with a matte black wrap and a Covercraft sunscreen is added to the windshield to reduce glare.

There are some accessories on the inside as well, like a DC Safety rear cargo organizer, a Tufty MOLLE straps and security drawer, Console Vault on the center console, and roadside assistance and first-aid kit. The Bronco even features a Sasquatch Package, which includes:

-* 1.2-inch Suspension Lift-Kit

-* Higher-Mounted Fender Flares

-* 17-inch Beadlock-Compatible Wheels

-* 35-inch Mud-Terrain Tires

-* Dana Front and Rear Locking Axles

-* An Electromechanical Transfer Case

-* Heavy-Duty Position-Sensitive Bilstein Shocks

-* 4.7:1 Final Drive Ratio

-* Two-inch Wider Track

-* Seven-speed manual gearbox

Bronco Badlands by RTR Vehicles

This Bronco is based on the Badlands and comes in the four-door avatar. The customizations are done by Ford accessory partner and long-time tuner, RTR Vehicles. This concept model comes with:

-* Custom RTR rock sliders and rear bumper

-* RTR 3D-printed grille with simulated accent lights

-* 35-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires wrapped around RTR Tech-6 wheels

-* A roof-mounted Project X lightbar

-* Custom RTR graphics

-* 12-volt Type S Blizzard Box refrigerator and freezer in back

Bronco Badlands by ARB 4x4 Accessories

The next concept comes courtesy of ARB Accessories. ARB’s concept Bronco is also based on a four-door Bronco and it is just as competent as the others in this list. To put it in a nutshell, here’s what the aftermarket company has added to its Bronco concept:

-* Airbag-compliant front and rear bumpers

-* Heavy-duty rock sliders

-* Differential cover

-* ARB twin compressor and jack

-* Zero refrigerator and freezer

Bronco Black Diamond by 4 Wheel Parts

Here’s the final concept that is gracing Moab at the 2021 Easter Safari and it has been customized by 4 Wheel Parts. This Bronco is also a four-door model, but unlike the Outer banks and Badlands, it is based on the Black Diamond spec. Here’s what 4 Wheel Parts has added to make it a tough off-roader:

-* A modular front bumper

-* Skid plate

-* Winch platform

-* Rides on 37-inch BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires wrapped around 17-inch Method wheels

-* Heavy-duty suspension components

-* Roof rack and light mounts

-* Smittybilt overhead tent and camping gear

-* Awning

-* Refrigerator and air system

Conclusion

Ford isn’t as established as Jeep when it comes to off-road accessories and doesn’t have a wide catalog to show for, either. Such an event, however, can change the perception. Ford is trying its best to let people know that the Bronco is just as customizable as the Jeep Wrangler – or close to some extent at least. Statements like, “In the end, no two Bronco SUVs should ever need to be the same. They can be as diverse as our customers are”, by the company showcase the same sentiment. Ford even showcased products by many of its partner-companies at last year’s SEMA, too, although they were for the Ranger. Nevertheless, it’s a step in the right direction. For the 2021 Bronco, Ford has over 200 accessories on offer, and more than 100 for the Bronco Sport.
