At the 2009 SEMA Show, World Championship Drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. brought the Mustang RTR-C. This year he will go classic and unveil the Mustang RTR-X - a customized ‘69 Mustang.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. uses up most of his time racing his 2010 Falken Tire Ford Racing Mustang in the Formula D series. Any extra time he has is spent drifting his personal2010 Ford Mustang at events all of the U.S. so he knows a thing or two about pony cars. According to him, the inspiration for the RTR-X has come from a mixture of things he has grown to love from custom Japanese nostalgic car styling and ‘60s and ‘70s race cars. The result is a unique and aggressive car featuring fender blisters, aggressive front-spoiler, and a tasteful rear-spoiler.

Under the hood there is a Ford 5.0 liter V8 that comes in the new 2011 Ford Mustang GT that delivers over 400hp stock and is capable of over 7000RPM coupled with Kinsler individual throttle body injection and the brand new Ford Racing Boss 302 R1 six-speed transmission.

Good old muscle car, mustang has been an Iconic car since it was introduced to the market, it is well known for it’s speed and reliability, since then until now mustang still is one of the best, meanest and baddest car on the road you’ll ever see.

Good thing that Ford Mustang RTR-X features a 5.0-liter V8 from the 2011 Mustang GT and a one-off sub-frame from Art Morrison.

Impressive! Those front spoiler will probably help to gain more ground grip.
