In all reality, no matter how much we love the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, its $72,900 starting price makes it not very affordable. But Lego is offering us a solution: a $49.90 kit that will at least give us the impression of owning a GT500. Of course, it only measures 10.5 inches and you also won't be able to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, but it is still a start.

The car is aimed for kids aged nine and above, but who said an adult can't have as much fun as a kid too? There are two very interesting things about this toy: it comes with two pull-back motors and the Lego app offers an augmented reality function that will put the car on a virtual racetrack. This will allow you to race your car, complete challenges and discover lots of fun ways to play.

For this latest feature you have to add the little crank at the back, and then pull back and then release to send your car speeding along.

Of course it doesn't come with the same 5.2-liter V-8 engine as the real GT500, nor it delivers 760 horsepower and 625 pound-feet of torque, but still it can be a very fun experience.
