Ford unveiled the 2021 Bronco in a grand fashion and received an overwhelming response. There was a lot of pressure on the automaker to create a product that was good enough to go up against the very well established Jeep Wrangler. Ford managed to pull it off and people loved the Bronco - the 190,000 reservations it received prove so. But, with constant delays, it looks like people are losing patience and Ford is suddenly losing customers to none other than Jeep.

Ford’s Loss Is Jeep’s Gain

Ford was supposed to launch Bronco off-roader in the spring of 2021 but recently pushed it to the summer. Although it’s just a matter of a few months, it pushed the potential owners to the edge, thus making them look for alternate options. It’s not their fault either, if to be seen. The Bronco’s reincarnation news surfaced many years back and some information or spy shots about it kept leaking regularly, thus pushing people to wait longer and longer

One potential owner, as reported by Ford Authority, is in a similar fix. He said, “After waiting three years for the Bronco, I’m sad to go in another direction,”. “My preference is Ford and I waited as much as possible for the new Bronco to come out but my truck (2004 Ford F-150) is falling apart and I need a new one today so I can’t wait anymore. It’s now between the Colorado ZR2 and Wrangler…leaning towards the Jeep. Maybe I can get a Bronco later once they’re released.”

Why Is The Bronco Delayed Until The Summer of 2021?

A Ford’s spokesperson had said, Although the automaker didn’t state the exact reason, the CEO of AutoForecast Solutions noted that the tops, which are made outside the U.S., are the culprit for the late launch.

Final Thoughts

With a new strain of the pandemic spreading all across the globe, no one can be sure that the Bronco will start arriving by the latest deadline. But, we can be hopeful for it.
