Ford has unloaded a bunch of concepts at the 2021 SEMA Show. If it were just the off-roaders and the trucks, we wouldn’t be too surprised. But, the automaker took things a step further by rolling out the Mustang and Mustang Mach-E concepts as well.

Ford Mustang Mach-E

Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Mustang Mach-E GT AWD

The Austin Hatcher Foundation designed this Mach-E to help families battling pediatric cancer through occupational and diversion therapy programs. It is based on the GT trim with the all-wheel-drive system. The SUV is finished in Space White exterior shade and comes with a black vinyl roof wrap by Wastegate Technologies. It rides on 20-inch Rotiform WheelsTM Alloy R-159 OZR wheels with Brembo brakes.

The EV also features a custom carbon fiber front splitter and rear wing sourced from Archetype Racing. An adjustable Motion Control Suspension is equipped as well. On the inside, the SUV comes with GTP seats from the Ford Performance Parts bin. There’s also an infrared rearview dash-cam.

Speaking of the specs, Ford offers the Mustang Mach-E GT in two trims – GT and GT Performance. The GT is powered by a pair of electric motors that put out 480 horses and 600 pound-feet of twist. It takes 3.8 seconds to sprint to 60 mph from a standstill. The GT Performance is the quickest Mach-E and takes about 3.5 seconds to 60 mph. The motors draw power from the 91 kWh extended battery that comes with a targeted EPA-estimated range of 270 miles. In the standard form, it starts at $59,995.

The Foundation plans to run this beast at the 2022 Bonneville Speed Week and clock 200 mph in it. In 2023, the SUV will be auctioned to support the foundation’s nationwide operations.

Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT Concept

When you talk about Mustangs, how can you leave Shelby behind? The Mach-E has been slapped with the Mustang moniker so it does have the Shelby involvement. Shelby has also taken the Mustang Mach-E concept under its wings. It is equipped with 20-inch one-piece forged Monoblock wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires.

This concept comes with a lot of aerodynamic and lightweight components. There are graphene-infused carbon fiber body pieces, an aerodynamic front fascia, front fenders and rear flares, and a custom hood with a large vent to lower the front-end lift. The company has also tuned and installed Ford MagneRide dampers with composite carbon fiber springs. Inside the cabin, you get Recaro seats and a Shelby CSM badge. Quite an interesting concept overall and we could Shelby come up with something similar for the production models.

Tjin Edition Mustang Mach-E California Route One

This Mustang Mach-E concept is created by Nein Tjin and is finished in a bright orange exterior shade. The EV looks bold and Tjin hasn’t shied away from going with teal green badging and accents in custom LED headlights that don’t exactly gel well. The Mach-E is shod in ultra-wide Falken ZIEX S/TZ05 tires wrapped around custom-painted 22-inch Vossen ML-R1 wheels.

Apart from this, the tuner has equipped custom-built solar panels on top and on its derriere. This is designed to charge a custom teal green RayVolt USA electric bicycle mounted to a Thule e-bike rack. A custom air-lift suspension from Hoppo’s Suspension is also installed. The braking duties are taken over by Baer 6S six-piston front and rear big brake kit.

On the inside, the concept features custom white leather seating surfaces from Recaro with teal lighting and teal seatbelts. The frunk is also customized and is a clear acrylic tank with LED lighting and cooling fans. All-in-all, it’s an interesting concept with some radical design.

This concept is based on the California Route 1 trim that makes 290 horses and 317 pound-feet of torque in the standard rear-wheel-drive layout, and 346 ponies and 428 pound-feet of torque when you opt for the all-wheel-drive layout. It comes only with the 91 kWh extended range battery pack that offers the best range that the Mach-E has to offer – 305 miles with the RWD system and 300 miles with the eAWD system. In its RWD layout, it is the slowest Mach-E to 60 mph, taking 6.1 seconds. The all-wheel-drive system makes it much quicker, as it takes just 4.8 seconds.

Ford Mustang

All Star Mustang EcoBoost HPP

The All Star Mustang also comes from the Tjin dynasty and has been created by Neil Tjin’s brother, Gene Tjin. It features the inverted color scheme of Neil’s Mustang Mach-E concept. Here you get a teal green paint scheme with white and orange accents. A body kit from Anderson Composites is also equipped along with an air-lift suspension. You, of course, can’t miss the Almond surfboards on the roof.

The muscle car rides on Falken FK510 tires shod around Vossen LC2-A1 wheels. There are custom orange-painted Baer Brakes that peep from the wheels. There isn’t much when it comes to performance upgrades other than a COBB Tuning intercooler and cold-air intake. The cabin is upholstered in full white Katzkin leather.

M2 Motoring Mustang GT

The other Mustang concept comes from M2 Motoring. It is based on the Mustang GT with the Performance Package. The car is powered by the 5.0-liter V-8 Coyote engine and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The engine is kitted with a supercharger and churns out 750 ponies.

On the outside, it wears a custom Motorcraft livery. The company has equipped 19-inch GT350 wheels with black lug nuts wrapped in 305/30 section Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires. Ford Performance lowering springs and a Performance Pack Level 2 front splitter are part of the overall package as well. Apart from this, GT350R big brake kit takes care of the braking duties. On the inside, the concept comes with custom Recaro RPSP leather seats, a custom laser-etched armrest, a GT500 instrument panel trim, and a Ford Performance carbon fiber shift knob.
