F1 fans, we've got news for you. With its iconic neon lights, Las Vegas will serve as a backdrop for Formula 1's latest addition to the 2023 calendar. The American metropolis will be one among three races in the United States, with the other two venues being COTA in Austin, Texas, and the street circuit in Miami, Florida.

F1 on the Vegas Strip for the first time ever

This is not the first time that the Sin City has played host to F1. However, this will be the first time that F1 cars will go flat out on the Vegas strip and blast past some of the most iconic hotels and casinos including the Bellagio, the Venetian, the Mirage Hotel, and the Caesars Palace.

The 3.8-mile (6.12-kilometer) street circuit is made up of three straights, a series of fast turns, and a single chicane and will allow drivers to hit speeds of up to 212 mph (342 km/h).

Here's what the drivers had to say about the Grand Prix in Vegas

Apparently, Danny Ric is holding off retirement now.} Current F1 Champ Max Verstappen says that they should have a two-week buffer, before and after the Vegas GP, while seven-time Champion Lewis Hamilton says that it will be quite challenging to focus in the party city.

Meanwhile, Mercedes had something really funny on their Instagram, looks familiar?

Quick 101 On The Pinnacle of Motorsport

Now, 2022 saw some big changes in the regulations and cars themselves, but the stuff that James Pumphrey has touched upon will give you a quick overview of the history and evolution of the sport.

See you in Vegas

Things will go down next November in the party-city and it is definitely a venue that I’m looking forward to.
