There are few if any models in the world to rival the Ferrari 312PB built by Pierre Scerri. This 1:3 scale masterpiece is the real thing in every sense, from its operating 100cc 12-cylinder engine to the exact scale operating Ferrari gauges which are calibrated precisely to indicate rpm, oil pressure, water temperature and oil temperature. It took Pierre 15 years and more than 20,000 hours to build this car! He learned to make glass so he could make the exact pattern lens for the operating headlights. He learned to make rubber so he could mold his own tires. He create also a functional gearbox .
After 12 years of hard work implying the use of many techniques and also an awesome amount of passion, the 312 PB was eventually unveiled.
The first creation but not the last one : The 312 PB with the race number 3, winner at the Targa Florio in 1972, was the first model built. 12 years of design, building, perfection, learning the different techniques and mastering the racing car manufacturer know-how.
12 years of exclusive passion were required to design, manufacture and set up the most incredible work of art which gathers in one object: the sport prototype golden age, the so particular flat 12-cylinder sound and the purity of the lines.
The second realization which currently under construction is the 312 PB with the race number 30, winner at Argentina GP in 1972…
