Microsoft has shown the gameplay and the cover art for Forza Horizon 5 as part of Gamescom 2021. Details about the racing game’s release date and map were revealed at the online event.

And lands onto a dusty track heading downhill

Out of rain-soaked Britain into the vibrant land of Mexico is exactly how you can describe the transition from Forza Horizon 4 to Part 5 can be described 2021. The open-world racing game made its big debut at this year’s Gamescom, when the cover photo, map, trailer, and gameplay were all revealed.

The C8 also manages to get some action in the dirt along the way

A good indication of what awaits us was showcased. High-speed battles along coastal roads, jungle, and uphill climbs with cars ranging from the Ford Bronco Badlands, Corvette C8, Porsche 911 Safarito the Mercedes-AMG One. That’s exactly the premise of the eight-minute playtime in the video below. There are 600 stunning cars to enjoy in the game, and 154 have been spotted so far!

The graphics in the gameplay are extremely detailed and immersive. Notice the water droplets as the Porsche drives through a puddle

A delivery plane drops off off-roaders and sports cars into their natural habitats, which you have to navigate drives through. The gameplay appears to be very detailed, dynamic, and is, therefore, the Horizon series’ well-known recipe for success.

Forza Horizon 5’s release date has already been announced for November 9, 2021, so fans won’t have to wait much longer. As technology giant Microsoft is the developer, the racing experience will only be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Windows PC.

The game will be available in Standard, Deluxe, and Premium versions at launch. Early Access will also be available, beginning November 5, 2021.
