Straight out of the mind of the man that gave us Adam West's iconic Batmobile, George Barris, known as the undisputed king of car customizers, is at it again with a new project involving a kustomized - that's his lingo for 'customized' - 2010 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS RS.

The project, which Barris worked on in collaboration with Community Chevrolet, is not the typical car customization we've come to expect from car tuners as it relates to working on a Camaro. Instead of focusing his attention on upgrading the car's performance package, Barris focused more of his time on customizing the Camaro's exterior, giving it a fresh and unique look to attract buyers that prefer style over substance with their Camaros.

Barris is calling his latest work of art the "Spirit" Camaro, which he gave a fresh paint job and a new three-bar unit that replaces the Camaro's fascia grille. While the car is still subject to the taste and whims of the customer, the changes Barris made nevertheless gives the "Spirit" Camaro a look that none of its brethren has ever come out with.

The car is available in both red and yellow paint jobs that is highlighted by pearl accents. Interested buyers can call their local Chevy dealer, which, in turn, would pitch a ring to Community Chevrolet to inquire about the availabilty and cost of the car, which, unfortunately, George Barris has not yet put a price tag on.
