The weather is getting frosty, and Christmas is nearly upon us. But while the kiddos are eagerly awaiting the sound of reindeer hooves on the roof, folks like you and me tend to prefer the sound of internal combustion on the pavement. Thing is, no one has really done an in-depth comparison to find out which is best – Santa’s sleigh, or a fire-breathing sports car. Luckily, GM Parts Center is stepping up to answer this oft-asked question in the following comparison chart.

Take a gander, and you’ll find the usual specs lined-up side-by-side for quick assessment, including motive power, peak output, 0-to-60 mph times, top speed, and cargo space, among others. However, GM Parts Center doesn’t declare an outright winner, so we’ll leave that up to you after weighing the pros and cons of both vehicles.

Of course, we couldn’t help but chime in with our own observations as well, pointing out the most important differences we could find. For example, one is good for milk and cookies, the other is good for donuts. One requires a big white beard, the other requires a big mullet. One is preceded by the sound of jingle bells, the other by the sound of jingling shotgun shells. One is great for stuffing stockings, the other is great for stuffing your sister. Just kidding, Bow Tie fan boys!
