It seems that Grand Prix champion and McLaren designer Gordon Murray has more projects then just the T25 city car. A new supercar is also under development that uses revolutionary chassis and body construction methods behind its radical T25.

According to AutoCar, Murray is going back to his performance car roots and wants to build a supercar that’s compact, lightweight and powered by a high-output, small-capacity engine. The end product should combine strong performance with low CO2 emissions.

The supercar is still under the early stages and could be build by Gordon Murray Design and its two investors - supplier group Caparo and US venture capitalist Mohr Davidow.
