With the recently launched Aston Martin V12 Zagato Concept drawing the auto world’s attention these days, a new development out on the Danish front could make for an interesting new coachbuilt Aston Martin V12.

A Danish coachbuilder that call themselves HBH is reportedly working on a new concept model based on the V12 Vantage, the exact same model the Zagato Concept is based on. Details behind this new coachbuilt V12 Vantage are still murky at this point, although there seems to be growing sentiment that the people behind the project - Jesper Hermann, Christian Brandt, and Torben Hartvig make up the brain thrust of HBH - are looking into giving the car a bespoke chassis.

The car is expected to be a one-off model that will be built for a single customer similar to Michael Stoschek’s New Stratos. No word yet on when the car is going to be ready to make its first appearance but fortunately, HBH was nice enough to roll out a teaser image of this new mystery coachbuilt Aston Martin V12 Vantage supercar.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

Agreed. That’s the reason why it doesn’t take so much time before they have made a production version and debut the car. For a v12 engine, the power output of the car is kind of impressive! And I think there Zagato version is more powerful compare to the Alfa Romeo.

Well, just recently the Aston martin have released the V12 version of Zagato. Admittedly, the speed performance of the vehicle is kind of impressive. And I think there are a lot that want to purchase this production vehicle.

Well, with the awesomeness of this production. I still don’t know if this car needs any introduction. The perfect detailing and performance of this car speaks it all. And I think the mid engine used in this car helps to boost its power.

Hmm, I think I would probably be following this one more than the Zagato. That one seems to be more oriented towards the looks department, while that of HBH seems to more of the racing type.

Hmm, this one is the second Vantage work that I have seen lately. I really wouldn’t be surprised if another company actually does their take on the Vantage V12 again.

Well, as for handling, I think that would still depend on many other things. In particular, the output of the V12 will certainly affect how the car would handle.

Well, I really liked the Zagato Vantage much, so I would also want to see this one. I hope they really would be able to pull off the concept that they have intended for this.

Wow, they really are coming out with a lot of concept designs for the Vantage. Well, they definitely have a good choice with the car, since it has a lot of potential.

And the other thing is, this car would have a better car handling though it would be a two-seater. I’m so excited on this new production knowing that it will be using a mid engine.
BTW, I bet this car would be faster just like the Vantage.

I think Aston Martin have been planning this concept for a long time and too bad they haven’t line it up for future production. However, using a mid engine for this car it actually subsided the overall weight of the car since it already balances the weight distribution so that the car could run faster.
