Forgive us for being a little too excited, but since we found out about these mysterious images of what looks to be a new Lamborghini->ke44 supercar, we’ve been staring at it for quite some time now trying to figure out if this is indeed Lambo’s new toy codenamed the Jota->ke3624.

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the Lamborghini’s eventual successor to the Murcielago and these images, grainy as they may be, is the latest indication of the new supercar’s impending arrival.

There’s no confirmation that this is in fact the Jota, but given the significant design change that we’re seeing – the aggressive LED lights on the front and the taillights on the back that resemble the ones found in the Lamborghini Estoque->ke3287 – we’re going by hunch that this could very well be the Jota. And in case you’ve been too busy ogling over the car, you might also notice those numbers on top – 20122012 – that we’re interpreting as ‘2012’ written twice, you know, for effect.

And to play devil’s advocate, the Murcielago successor is expected to be released in 2012. Coincidence? We don’t think so.
