It’s riding on sand dunes like its tarmac!

The Maximus 1000 might arguably be the most popular product from Hennessey today. The truck is a beast in Jeep Gladiator’s clothes. It is plonked with the Hellcat 6.2-liter, supercharged V-8 engine under the hood and given the Hennessey treatment. On paper, the Maximus 1000 checked all the boxes that you’d expect from a truck of this demeanor. But, we have yet to see it prove its mettle in tough terrains or tracks or anywhere in the real world for that matter. However, Hennessey decided to show the world the Maximus’ might and took it to the desert to play with it. Is it still impressive? Hell yeah!

That’s 1,000 Horses Running And Flying In The Desert

Hennessey took one example to tackle the sand dunes and the truck didn’t disappoint.

The short video showed us that the Maximus 1000 is not just a fast performer, but is also a strong off-roader.

Hennessey has limited the production of the Maximus 1000 to just 24 units. Until now, the company has built just four examples of the same and one of them is has been taken out to show the world its prowess.

The video from Hennessey proved that the Maximus 1000 is more than just a limited-production, expensive truck. The company is selling it for $225,000 a pop, but that at least includes the cost of the donor vehicle as well. For now, the company still has 20 examples to sell and availability will end on April 24, 2020. However, it looks unlikely that all the examples will be sold out by then.
