The rendering is amusingly called the WRX STI "2022B", and it blends the design elements of the current 2022 WRX and the 22B from the late ’90s.
The result is a two-door sporty coupe with less of the modern-day WRX’s body cladding and more of the Impreza WRX STI 22B’s clean-sheet design.
Some of the other enhancements Rain Prisk made to the WRX STI 2022B are the enhanced front splitter, long side skirts, a tall rear wing, and gold wheels that draw inspiration from the original 22B.
The rendering also adds a few modifications to the modern day WRX STI 22B, most noticeable of which is its lowered ride height.
When the current 2022 Subaru WRX came out, it draw a lot of controversy from its styling, especially due to the comical amount of body cladding that makes it look like a crossover SUV.
If it weren't for its controversial styling, the new WRX would almost definitely be the best affordable sports sedan money can buy.
