Honda and pop singer Charlie Puth have collaborated to create a unique Civic Type R that will be showcased at this year’s Honda Civic Tour. The one-off was designed by the singer, who was also given the same task on a Rebel 300 motorcycle that is going to be raffled off as part of this year’s Civic Tour festivities. Those who end up joining the fun could win the Puth-designed Rebel 300 motorcycle or a Honda Civic of their choice.

This year, Charlie Puth takes center stage as the man in charge of designing the Civic Type R. The singer, songwriter, and producer didn’t waste any time at all with his creation, giving the hatchback a sort of dark mint green color in the upper half of its body and a more traditional black shade in the lower half. Put also added touches of red accents throughout the car, most notably on the lip spoilers and side sills of the Civic Type R. As it is in this treatment, the Civic Type R looks pretty cool. Just find a way to get over large “Charlie Puth” livery on the side panels, and you’ll be on your way to actually enjoy the pop star’s creation. At the very least, it’s a different interpretation from the one-off Civic Type R that was showcased at last year’s event. That one was designed by Puth’s contemporaries in the art, One Republic. It was dressed predominantly in matte black with red accents on the hood, side skirts, and rear spoiler.

In addition to the Civic Type R, Honda also gave Puth the opportunity to design a Honda Rebel 300 motorcycle. Not wasting the opportunity, the singer gave it a similar color treatment. And, for what it’s worth, the result actually looks better on the Rebel 300. That’s probably one of the reasons why Honda is offering the special edition bike as one of the prizes in the Honda Civic Tour giveaway to go with a Honda Civic of the winner’s choosing.

The winner of the sweepstakes can choose either the special edition Rebel 300 or a Civic Sedan, Coupe or Hatchback model. On top of that awesome choice, Honda will also give a VIP experience at a Honda Civic Tour show, including tickets to the show and access to a VIP sound check before the show.

No purchase of anything is necessary to enter or win, though you only have until September 30 to enter for a chance to win these snazzy prizes. As always, it’s important to read the fine print of the contest before you join. For example, you must be at least 18 years old, and a legal resident of, and physically reside in, continental United States. Unfortunately, residents of Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible to join the contest. If you qualify, all that's left to do is visit the Honda Civic Tour website and register. Good luck!
