If only traffic safety education was this cool, then maybe we wouldn’t be having all of these car accidents in the first place.

Over in Japan, Honda has begun selling an all-new Automobile Driving Simulator that looks a lot like one of those car racing arcades. The ADS is a new educational software that allows trainees an unprecedented experience and sense of driving that is as close to real world conditions as any driving simulator can get. The ADS comes with a retail personal computer, a steering wheel, two 42-inch HD LCD displays, and a Honda Safety Navi program that provides a simple and easy to use automobile driving simulator.

In addition to that, the driver is also advised on how to handle driving situations that can be potentially dangerous and have a high possibility of occurring in the real world.

In terms of pure, unadulterated awesomeness, this new Honda Automobile Driving Simulator sure beats the crap out of any driving instructions or lessons we have right now and it surely wouldn’t hurt to have a couple of these to play around with.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

hmm. Seems interesting! I bet it would be a big hit for those who wants to learn on how to drive properly. However, this thing would be useless when the student is now ready to drive in the real car.

It’s like Japanese are doing things based on the Playstation, they maybe right, almost all things can be learned on the game.

Well, I think it is much better to learn driving in real not on that automated driving simulator although this will help you learn to drive but I guess if you drive on the real road. I think you will feel more fear unlike you been practicing it on the real road.
