Other dealers have also reportedly sold this special-edition car for well over six digits, partly because of some simple economics: high demand for a limited supply of the Iacocca Mustang means that dealers have a license to jack up their prices. It may not be the nicest thing to do, but hey, business is business, right?

We don’t know how many of Iacocca Mustangs have already been sold but we do know that when an already limited supply dwindles, then you can expect to see much higher prices down the road. If you’re lucky, you can pluck one of these cars for its SRP.

But in any other scenario, you might have to shell out more than what the car costs. But hey, it’s the Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary Edition Ford Mustang. It’s as special edition as special editions can get.
