Back when Lamborghini was still teasing the Urus, we were served with a video that showcased the SUV’s Sabbia mode. By the way, Sabbia is the Italian word for sand. For the video, Lamborghini took a pre-production to Dubai, where it was let loose to raise clouds of dust to our entertainment.
Since then, the Urus has established itself a top seller in Lambo’s range and we are willing to bet that no customer took it off the beaten path. Not with the intent to genuinely punish it, that it. Which might change if this digitally rendered off-road kit gets made.

Anyway, the fiery body color you see was inspired by the Countach. The same goes for the tan leather interior and bronze wheels, while the muscular fender flares are a signature of Lambo’s first SUV, the LM002. Come to think of it, this thing could easily be included in the next Forza Horizon 4 DLC.
The best thing about the kit is that if it ever gets turned into a real upgrade made to fit the Urus, it does not really need the addition of a power upgrade. The Urus is already high on oomph thanks to a twin-turbo V-8 good for 641 horsepower and 626 pound-feet of twist. It is also capable of 0-60 mph sprints ticked off in a tad over three seconds and top speeds of 190 mph, so all the potential needed to punish off-road trails is undoubtedly there.
Between you and me, with Lamborghini already offering the track-only Urus ST-X, seeing a Dakar-ready build cannot sound too far-fetched, can it? I mean, a lot can happen in a year...
