We can’t say no to a screaming Lambo, not even if it’s just on video

John Hennessey and company simply couldn’t refrain from giving the Lamborghini Urus a power upgrade. Make no mistake, the Urus is loaded in the performance department as it is, but this is Hennessey, so a dish made of car steroids is always welcome.

Torque takes a hike, too, from 606 pound-feet to 730 pound-feet, and Hennessey claims the Urus can now pull 0-60 mph sprints in 2.65 seconds.

Where these tweaks really necessary? Well, no, not really. It’s quite hard for your average driver to spot the difference on the road, and unless he or she pushes the SUV really hard, these figures will mainly help potential bragging rights. But there’s one thing that will make a difference for those who opt for the upgrade: the price tag.

Also, you have to keep in mind your car will stay with the tuner for the four-week build timeframe.

Of course, if Hennessey’s style isn’t your cup of tea, then there are other tuners having a go at the Urus, including Mansory - with the very ugly Venatus.

Either way, there’s some quality pulse-raising exhaust sound in the video above, so it should be worth your while.
